By accessing or using MITServices website, services, and products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
MITServices provides technology repair services, software development, and related products. Services include but are not limited to:
3.1 Diagnostic Fee: A diagnostic fee may apply for assessing device issues. This fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.
3.2 Warranty: All repairs come with a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. Warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not cover new damage or unrelated issues.
3.3 Data Loss: We are not responsible for data loss during repairs. Please back up your data before bringing in your device. We can assist with data backup for an additional fee.
3.4 Unclaimed Devices: Devices left unclaimed for 60 days after repair completion will be considered abandoned and may be recycled or sold to recover repair costs.
4.1 Licenses: Software products are sold under their respective license terms. All sales of digital products are final once the license key has been delivered or software has been downloaded.
4.2 Custom Development: For custom software development, terms will be outlined in a separate agreement including project scope, timelines, payment schedule, and intellectual property rights.
5.1 Quotes: All repair quotes are estimates based on initial diagnostics. Final costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during repair. You will be notified of any cost increases before work continues.
5.2 Payment: Full payment is required before device return or software delivery. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
5.3 Refunds: Physical products may be returned within 30 days if unopened and in original condition. Software and digital products are non-refundable. Repair services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
5.4 Shipping: Shipping for physical products is available exclusively to addresses within the Republic of South Africa. We do not offer international shipping at this time. Delivery times and costs vary by location and will be calculated at checkout. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
6.1 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
6.2 Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MITServices shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service or product.
You agree to indemnify and hold MITServices harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
